Daffy Duck is a rival and friend of Bugs Bunny and Porky Pig, he hated Elmer J. Fudd who hunts rabbits, he says himself "Duck Season! FIRE!" Elmer shoots him and almost killed him, he makes his first appearence in 1937 at Porky's Duck Hunt as a rival of Porky Pig in Duck Season.
